Our favorite where we celebrate almost all our birthdays! Lovely restaurant right on the seafront with a magnificent view. The chef and his wife look after the restaurant and bring you gourmet Cotentin cuisine with every dish. Don't hesitate to make a reservation, mentioning that you're staying at "Steinfatt", and you'll be guaranteed a nice table by the window!
La Potinière
16 Rue du Port, 50270 Barneville-Carteret
Restaurant located directly on Carteret beach, with spectacular views. The bistro cuisine is of excellent quality and the setting very maritime.
Please note: there is no parking directly in front of the restaurant. You can park at the beach parking lot, but you need to keep an eye on the tide as the water rises up to the restaurant, making access to the parking lot impossible. Alternatively, you can park at the top of the cliff and walk down a short, steep path.
La Cale
A must-see in the Cotentin region! Feet in the sand, smoke from the grill in your nose and the beach of Blainville sur Mer in your eyes. La Cale is an atypical restaurant where the food takes a back seat. It's the warm, chaotic, friendly atmosphere that attracts you and makes for an unforgettable evening. We don't need to spell it out for you, because you have to experience it to believe it!
